Welcome

Groudd Hall is situated close to the village of Cerrigydrudion, near Corwen, Denbighshire and is farmed by Peter and Jane Lewis.

Groudd Hall

The land is designated a Less Favoured Area with all the land around the 1000ft. (305m) contour with a 56" (142cm) average annual rainfall.  This is an all grass farm of long term leys, which until December 2001 was a dairy and sheep farm; being the home of the GROUDD pedigree Holstein herd.  This herd was sold in its entirety, following our decision to cease milk production, to Andrew and Jill Williamson to re-establish the Ingleden herd, tragically lost through foot and mouth disease.

Our business continues, expanding our CAMELOT Texel flock together with CONTRACT REARING and SALE of beef and dairy heifers.
